|  | Tom Noonan Chief Executive,The Maxol Group In 1980, Tom joined Maxol Limited, as Personnel Manager, from the Federated Union of Employers (now IBEC). He held the key positions of Marketing Manager and General Manager of Maxol Limited, before being appointed Chief Executive of The Maxol Group in 1996.
He was President of the Irish Business and Employer Confederation (IBEC) from June'08 to June'10 and has also been President of the Society of the Irish Motor Industry, as well as Chairman of the Board of the Irish Petroleum Industry Association. He is is currently a Government nominee on the Personal Injuries Assessment Board and also served on the Boards of Beaumont Hospital and Gypsum Industries. Tom is former Chairman of the Transport Working Group of Business Europe and also serves on the Fingal Enterprise Board.
He is a member of the Marketing Institute and also finds time for golf and is a keen rugby spectator.

|  | Brian Donaldson General Manager - Marketing & Retail, The Maxol Group Brian Donaldson joined Maxol Oil Limited in September 1986 after receiving an Honours Degree in Business Studies at the University of Bradford.
Actively involved in the development of Maxol’s retail network in Northern Ireland, he quickly progressed from Area Manager to Retail Manager and was appointed General Sales Manager for Northern Ireland in 1995. A year later was promoted to the position of Group Marketing Manager for all Ireland.
In 2002 he was appointed General Manager – Marketing and Retail of the Maxol Group responsible for developing the Group’s extensive retail network, maximizing non fuel income streams, development of food partner alliances with Mace/Spar and coordinating the Groups marketing, sponsorship and PR activities throughout Ireland.
In June 2005 Brian assumed the position of Managing Director of the Group’s Northern Ireland Home Heat Division, Maxol Direct while retaining his current retail responsibilities.
Brian is a founder director and member of the Northern Ireland Oil Federation. He has been instrumental in raising the standards and profile of the local oil distributor market, together with lobbying local politicians and Westminster on retail service station matters relating to fuel duty tax and planning.
In 2006 Brian was appointed Chairman of PLATO Belfast, a voluntary body of blue chip companies which provide top executives to assist and mentor SME’s on specific business requirements.
He is also a member of the board of Efficient Consumer Response Ireland, which consists of some of the leading FMCG manufacturers and retailers and has the primary objective of ensuring on-shelf availability of products and adopting best practice in retailing in Ireland.
Married with one child, his main interests outside of work centre on gardening and playing golf.

|  | Laurence Donegan Group Financial Controller, The Maxol Group Laurence Donegan, B. Comm., A.C.M.A., joined Maxol in 1996 as Financial Accountant for Maxol Limited. Prior to this, he held a number of finance roles at Ford Motor Company and The Rank Organisation PLC.
He was appointed Chief Accountant, The Maxol Group in 1999 and to his current position of Deputy Group Financial Controller in 2006, where he is responsible for all financial reporting and control matters for the two largest Group companies and for financial reporting for the Group as a whole.
Since joining Maxol, he has participated in several cross-functional project teams which have generated significant cost-savings and new business. In particular, he was instrumental in integrating the accounting and administration functions for the main Northern and Southern Ireland businesses into a single head office in August 2000.
He was a mentor in the Plato North Dublin Business Development Programme from 1997 to 1999 and has been a member of the Financial Executives Association since 2005. He is married with two children. | |

|  | Mark Woods Group Operations Manager
Mark is the most recent member of the Senior Group Management team, having joined in early 2008. As Group Operations Manager he is responsible for all aspects of operations, distribution, logistics, storage and safe transportation of product.
Mark is also responsible for fuel supplier relations, contract negotiation and commercial management of contractual agreements. He also handles The Maxol Group’s insurance portfolio.
Prior to joining, Mark was the Operations Manager of Kerry Connect (a division of Kerry Foods), where he had operational and budgetary responsibility for the Island of Ireland distribution network including the National Distribution Centre, twelve regional depots and the commercial fleet of circa 200 vehicles.
Previously, Mark was the Operations Manager for BWG Foods Ltd., with responsibility for the bonded warehousing and distribution operation providing the logistical service to both Value Centre and to Greenhill’s Wines and Spirits divisions.
Mark holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology and successfully completed the Council of Engineering Institute’s (CEI) Examinations.
Outside work Mark has a keen interest in Personal and Executive Coaching and is a passionate classic car enthusiast. | |
