MAXOL OFFERS 100,000 DISCOUNTED RYANAIR FLIGHTS

Maxol, Europe’s leading independent oil company is Ireland’s first fuel company to link with Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, in offering customers 100,000 discounted return flights on routes to the UK and Europe. The joint promotion will be available at Maxol Filling Stations nationwide and allows customers to collect Maxol ‘Flights for Fuel’ vouchers with every £20 or more of Maxol motor fuel purchased. With every four vouchers collected, Ryanair flights can then be purchased for as little as £30.

The vouchers will enable 100,000 people to jet off from Dublin to London and nine other destinations throughout the UK for £30 return (plus tax) and from Cork, Kerry and Knock to London also for only £30 return (plus tax). Thousands more will jet off from Dublin to Paris and Brussels for only £40 return (plus tax).

The promotion is running for seven weeks, from March 29th to May 18th and flights must be booked from Ryanair Direct (on 01 6097878) or through Ryanair.com before April 21st to ensure a seat can be secured. The travel period is from April 5th to June 15th and ‘Flights for Fuel’ vouchers can be collected at Maxol Filling Stations up to May 18th.

Speaking at the launch of the Maxol ‘Flights for Fuel’ promotion, Caroline Keenan, Brand Development Manager, Maxol said:

"We are delighted to be the first Irish fuel operator to link with an Irish airline and offer such a large volume of discounted flights to our customers. Maxol is constantly striving to offer customers a promotion with a difference and with 100,000 Ryanair seats available, this promotion is something that can be easily availed of - offering real added value for every £20 worth of Maxol fuel purchased."

Commenting on the promotion, Ms. Ethel Power, Head of Communications, Ryanair said:

"Ryanair has made air-travel possible for millions of Irish passengers and this joint promotion with Maxol will deliver even more savings to Irish people filling up on Maxol to drive to the airport. The message is simple, if you want a value for money journey, be it flying or driving, then the only answer is to fill up with ‘Flights for Fuel’ at Maxol and fly Ryanair."

Maxol is entirely Irish owned, by the McMullan family, and is Ireland's third largest oil company. It has a combined turnover of £300 million and a network of over 400 service stations throughout the island.
