MAXOL LIMITED ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF RETAIL EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Maxol recently announced the winners of its Retail Excellence Award Scheme, which was created to promote and reward excellence in retail standards and customer care throughout its network of service stations.
Now in its 6th year, the awards are organised bi-annually by Maxol’s head office, and incorporates 200 of Maxol’s network of stations in both the North and South of the country.
The scheme was developed to ensure that customers can expect the best from Maxol, including quality retailing and premium customer care and that the best levels of service and amenities are maintained on Maxol forecourts.
Formal inspections are carried out by senior management at participating Maxol stations over a four-month period from November to February 2000. The service stations are divided into three league tables, corresponding to their size and location. In addition an independent agency conducts mystery motorist visits to observe and report on the quality of service offered to the customer.
Commenting on the initiative Caroline Keenan, Brand Development Manager of Maxol said:
"The Retail Excellence Awards are central to Maxol’s policy to ensure that there is consistent customer care and site management in all our service stations. The awards recognise the importance of customer commitment and also acknowledges retailers and staff who are committed to achieving this goal."
The winners for the Republic of Ireland were announced at a ceremony held at the City West Hotel on 8th. March.
