Exceptional card security features +
You control your businesses fuel cards. Each one can be restricted to a specific driver or vehicle and, with the introduction of PIN verification on all cards, your business will have the security it requires. Fuel Cards will also prevent unauthorized product purchases by limiting purchases to fuel, oil and car washes. No other items can be purchased using a Maxol Fuel Card.
Access to an all-Ireland network +
Coverage across the island of Ireland is available to all businesses, depending on their individual need, vehicle types and pricing requirements. It includes over 100 specialist HGV sites and more than 600 retail forecourts.
Access to a UK network +
Access to more than 1,500 sites throughout the UK is available with our Keyfuels Card.

Cost control on your fuel +
Your online account gives you complete control over your fuel costs. You can receive invoices via email and benefit from having access to historic account information. Both vehicle and driver performance can be accurately measured by monitoring:
- Vehicle fuel consumption
- Vehicle cost per mile
- Mileage records
Live account access +
Live access to your account via the internet enables you to manage your fleet in real time. You can:
- Print copy documentation
- Order and cancel cards
- Review un-invoiced transactions
- Analyse and export account data
Reduced administration +
Clear and simple, fully-itemised vehicle-specific account invoicing is provided with a single standard invoice for all card types. VAT is detailed separately and you can customise the layout of your account to suit your administrative needs
Separate invoices are created for purchases made in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom. Invoices can also be grouped by individual cost centres if required.
Having a Maxol Fuel Card account makes it simple to recover cross-border VAT, even if you are not registered for VAT in that country:
- For United Kingdom businesses recovering VAT in the Republic of Ireland, please use form VAT60EC.
- For Republic of Ireland businesses recovering VAT in the United Kingdom, please use the UK VAT Refund form VAT65. Notes to assist in its completion are contained in VAT65 (Notes).
Competitive payment terms +
Maxol Fuel Cards give you longer to pay, effectively giving you 30 days of interest-free credit, freeing up your working capital and improving your cash flow.
Settlement is required by direct debit on the 15th of each month following invoice. Customers can pay in either Sterling or Euro, or a combination of both if they have the appropriate bank account(s)*.
* For Euro payments, the bank account must be held with a Republic of Ireland clearing bank and for Sterling payments, the account must be with a United Kingdom clearing bank.
