The Farm Safety Experience April 17th

The Agri sector is one of Maxol Lubricants’ core markets.

We are delighted to come on board & join forces with Teagasc and the Irish Farmers Association (IFA) in bringing awareness to Farm Safety. It is such an important topic across Ireland, and we are proud to help in any way we can. It is great to be associated with Teagasc and the IFA and this is only the start of the three of us helping to promote Farm Safety across Ireland, north and south.

The fatality rate in agriculture is far higher than any other economic sector.  A large proportion of all fatal workplace accidents occur in agriculture, even though a small proportion of the workforce is employed in farming.  The level of farm accidents is not decreasing.  Similar accidents occur each year.

Height for Hire will be demonstrating safety at heights. Michael Ryan, our distributor in Cork will be demonstrating the importance of lubricating farm machinery. Cardiologist Dr. Michael Conway will speak on health. A tractor simulator will be there for people to practice safe driving and much more will also take place.
