Leading forecourt convenience retailer, Maxol has had a busy few months celebrating the company’s new TV commercial entitled ‘Little Girl’. To mark the launch of the TV ad, Maxol ran a competition across its 236 service stations and its website to ‘Win Gear For Your Team’ which gave local sporting clubs nationwide the opportunity to win new jerseys and equipment for their team. Today Maxol announced that Lisdrum Youth Football Club in Newry were one of the winning teams, helping then to kick off their new football season in style.
Maxol recognises the importance of sporting clubs across the island of Ireland and encourages all ages to be at the heart of these activities.
Club representative of Lisdrum Youth Football Club Seamus Byrne said: “We are thrilled to have won. The team is so excited about the new kit we’re hoping it will help us achieve some great results this season.”
