Maxol is getting into the swing of things this summer by sponsoring five Irish festivals nationwide, following the company’s successful summer sponsorships in 2015.

Kicking off with a bang, Belsonic takes place at Titanic Belfast this week. Music lovers are in for a treat with acts such as The Chemical brothers, Ellie Goulding and Tiesto. This years dates are split between June and August, which means more music and summer fun. For more information on dates check out the website: http://www.belsonic.com.

Moving into July, lots of entertainment is expected at the Day Tripper three-day music festival. Taking place between 1st-3rd of July in Waterford, music lovers can enjoy acts including Leftfield, Ocean Colour Scene and Paul Young. The Regional Sports Centre, Cork Road, will host this year’s Day Tripper event with top class bar and food facilities.

On to the north east for the Irish Maritime Festival, this event is ideal for a family day out. Visitors will enjoy the quaint quayside of Drogheda Port, pirate ships such as the Soteria and the Vilma, Viking boat trips, food demonstrations, street entertainment and live music. There is something for everyone at this year’s Maritime Festival, which will take place from 9th-10th July.

Back to the Déise, Spraoi Music and Arts Festival, known to the locals as “The Spraoi Weekend” will exhibit a packed few days between 29th-31st July. Spectators will enjoy live music, street activity and perfomances from around the world. The Maxol music stage this year will be at John Roberts Square in the heart of the city’s busy shopping area and the Spraoi Parade is an impressive sight to be enjoyed by all the family. All music events will be free of charge with gigs held at indoor and outdoor locations.

Last but definitely not least, Indiependence Festival at Deer Park, Michelstown, Cork, kicks off its music festivities on 29th July and continues to 31st. Music enthusiasts will look forward to acts from well known bands such as BellX1, The Strypes, Walking On Cars and many more. Indie patrons are advised to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the chants of their favourite songs at this three day exclusive event.
