Maxol Brings Convenience of 24 Hours Automated Service Station To Andersonstown Road, Belfast

Leading fuel retailer Maxol today opened a new automated service station on the Andersonstown Road, Belfast. Marketed under the Maxol auto24 brand, the new station is a 24-hour fully automated operation that provides Belfast’s motorist with ‘all-day, everyday low fuel prices’ and pay-at-the-pump convenience.

The opening of the new station got off to a winning start when Anne Marie Barr from Belfast received a free tank of fuel for being the first customer to use the facility. The official opening also featured family entertainment and music on site, with customers being offered free coffee and other special giveaways.

The Andersonstown Road Maxol auto24 has six pay at the pump fuelling dispensers which accept payment by debit card, credit card and Maxol fuel card.

This is Maxol’s sixth auto24 station in Northern Ireland and follows the successful and popular model pioneered at auto24 in Carryduff in 2011, and subsequently set up at sites including Holywood Road, Bridge End; Shore Road, Newtownabbey and Hazelbank in Whiteabbey.

Brian Donaldson, Maxol Group General Manager, said: “We are delighted to open the sixth auto24 service station on the Andersonstown Road, offering motorists a number of distinct advantages. The fuel pricing is keener as there are fewer costs to pay; queues tend to be shorter as customers pay at the pump; and 24-hour opening means that motorists can fill up at a time that best suits them.

“While we are very pleased to launch another auto24 station, Maxol is still firmly committed to our full service station format. The automated format in this case has enabled us to make use of a previously closed site by using our state-of-the-art technology to offer an innovative new fuel solution.”

“As the fuel pricing is controlled directly from Head Office, the Andersonstown Road service station allows us to provide motorists with petrol and diesel at even more competitive prices. You can register on to receive advance notice by email or text of special offers and fuel price happy hour promotions.”

Over the next two weeks, a dedicated Maxol auto24 service team will be on-hand from 8am to 7pm to offer assistance to motorists and demonstrate how simple and convenient the pay at pump service really is.
