  • This competition is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only.
  • Maxol employees, their agents, families or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are excluded from the competition.
  • In order to be in with a chance to win a prize of the "Family Day Out OR Lunch for two" participants must fill in their contact details and finish the "Test your Irishness Quiz" on www.maxol.ie
  • The Prize of a family day out, can be chosen within reason by the winner. The prize will include a family pass to a tourist attraction up to a maximum value of €100. Family pass includes entry for 2 adults and 2 kids.
  • The Prize of a lunch for two, consists of a voucher (redeemable against food and drinks) for a pub or restaurant of the winner's choice to a value of €60. In the case that the chosen pub or restaurant does not sell vouchers, the winner can instead choose a One 4 All voucher to the same value.
  • The winning entry will be chosen at random by Maxol, and we reserve the right to use the winner's name in marketing communications.
  • This competition will run from 3rd of March – 18th of March 2016.
  • Winner will be notified via email on Monday 21st of March 2016.
  • Entrants can enter the competition multiple times, but only one submission will be counted as form of entry.
  • The Maxol Group's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • In the event that The Maxol Group is unable to contact the winner after 3 attempts the prize will be passed on to another winner.
  • The Maxol Group will publish the names of the winners online.
  • The Maxol Group reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition, extend the closing date or amend these terms and conditions. By continuing to take part in the competition subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
  • If there are not enough entries to the competition, The Maxol Group reserves the right to withdraw the competition.
  • This Competition is governed by Irish Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. This will not affect your statutory rights.
  • All disputes which arise between the parties in connection with these terms and conditions, or the subject matter of these terms and conditions, shall be decided by an arbitrator agreed by the parties or, in default of agreement, appointed by the President for the time being of the Law Society of Ireland or in the event of his being unwilling or unable to do so by the next senior officer of the Society who is willing and able to make the appointment provided always that these provisions shall apply also to the appointment (whether by agreement or otherwise) of any replacement arbitrator where the original arbitrator (or any replacement) has been removed by Order of the High Court, or refuses to act, or is in capable of acting or dies.
  • If any part of these provisions are held by an Irish court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the remainder of these provisions shall not be affected and such provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make such provision consistent with applicable law and, in its modified form, such provision shall then be enforceable and enforced.
