From Friday, 2 December until Monday, 19 December Maxol will be running competitions on Facebook and Instagram for a chance to win a number of prizes for you and a friend. Head over to Facebook or Instagram to see how to enter!

  1. This promotion is open to Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 years or over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
  2. To enter this promotion entrants 02.12.22 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 23:59 on 19.12.22.
  3. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged, or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  4. There are 3 prizes in total to be won. The first prize is 1 x €100 Smyths Toystore voucher for the winner and 1 x €100 Smyths Toystore voucher for the winner's nominated friend.The second prize is 1 x Apple Airpods 2nd Generation for the winner and 1 x Apple Airpods 2nd Generation for the winner's nominated friend. The third prize is 1 x Treat for Two at the Rainforest Spa. 
  5. The competition will run from Friday, 2 December until Monday, 19 December. Incomplete, illegible, or late entries will not be accepted.
  6. Each winner will be announced each consecutive Wednesday and will be chosen at random from Facbook and Instagram entries received. The prize winner will be contacted via a direct message or public comment on Instagram or Facebook, depending on the profile used to enter the competition.
  7. Prize winners must provide correct personal details including, full name, address and phone number for themselves and friend to fulfil the prize.
  8. Prizes are limited to one prize per person. We will not accept entries from persons using multiple numbers to enter or derivatives of their name.
  9. Prize winner must claim their prize within 72 hours of receipt of notification from the promoter that they have won a prize. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.

  11. Only one entry per person is allowed. No bulk, consumer group or third-party entries will be accepted.
  12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature, in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prize.
  13. It is the winner’s responsibility to supply their name and address to the Promoter, to fulfil the Prize and the Promoter accepts no liability for any inaccuracies in the information passed to it by the winner.
  14. Prize winners must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material both on and offline.
  15. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. In the event for any reason the prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize.
  16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature, in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prize.
  17. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, or there is any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
  18. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded.
  19. The personal information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent/you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants. The Promoter is bound by the Data Protection Act 1998 or General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as applicable.
  20. These terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Ireland.
  21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook. The personal data provided by you in the context of this competition will be processed by the Promoter. Your first name, last name, age, and mobile phone number will be stored by the Promoter, in order to be able to appoint winners of the prizes and to execute the prizes and may be disclosed to third parties for the purpose of delivering the prizes. The Promoter will not use this data other than for this purpose. All personal data will be deleted after the competition has been completed.

No warranty or guarantee is given by the Promoter in relation to any of the prizes and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, associated companies, and trading partners will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, additional expenses, injury or death howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort (including without limitation, negligence, fraud or malicious act), statutory or otherwise arising out of the Competition or receipt or use of any prize awarded pursuant to the Competition and the Promoter does not recommend or guarantee the performance of any contractor or the obligations of any third parties associated with any prize (including without limitation the promoter of any prize) and will not be liable for any fraud committed by any third party.
  23. In all respects the judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the judges' decision.
